Description

System comes complete with mounting bracket, housing wrench, special brush for cleaning ceramics, mounting module, 6 washable ceramics, pipe connectors and two shut-off valves. (o-rings are pre-lubricated with USA food grade NSF certified lubricant)

The ceramics are designed to remove suspended solids and pathogenic bacteria. The ceramic elements may be used in either gravity or pressure filter housing.

Standard filter elements require sterilization after cleaning. To do this, place the candle in a container of water and boil for 20 minutes. Allow the candle to cool before replacing it in the filter housing.

* NOTE: It is important to remember that the outer surface of these or any other non-self-sterilizing cartridges may be covered with harmful bacteria, so sensible hygiene precautions should be taken during handling, cleaning, refitting into the housing or disposal.
